Training course in Ecohydrology :

A free attending full day training course on EcoHydrology problem solving is planned on Friday 1st of June.

Ecohydrolgy aims to use the combined effects of water related flow regulation and natural processes to manage and reduce water pollution related to human activity. These are low cost effective solutions contributing to the water resource recycling both in agricultural and urban landscapes. Ecohydrology also contributes to the greening and attractiveness of rapidly expanding urban areas.

More details can be found on EcoHydrology implementation at the following link : http://www.erce.unesco.lodz.pl/ .

The objective of the training course is to work on case studies  proposed by the participants. To do so, case studies description should be sent to the given email addresses:   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  or  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  .

This will allow the organizing committee to ask for complements as to develop and size possible solutions that will be build with participants during the course. To be efficient it is planned to keep no more than ten case studies but the course will be open for more people that have to declare their interest as soon as possible. So, in case of interest, please send an email  with the following information :

Subject: Ecohydrology training course - Balwois'2012.
Email content : I'm interested to attend the Ecohydrology Training Course and to submit a case study  (yes or no)"
